Do I use drawings as an excuse to update, or updates as a excuse for the drawings?

Are you a fan of Avatar? ... No? Me either. Doesn't matter; you ought to check out [livejournal.com profile] racebending and [livejournal.com profile] aang_aint_white anyway. This BS over the casting of the movie has me very upset as well.

Thanks to the book How To Draw Six of Disney's Fierce Bitches (which you can download in PDF format by clicking that link), I've finally gotten around to learning how to draw the Disney princesses. Not all of them, though, just Snow White, Aurora, Jasmine, Belle, Ariel, and as a bonus, Tinker Bell. WARNING: The book is sexist if you think about the words they use.

I like how her face turned out. Body... I work on that. I'm no Bri*Chan.

I ought to make another Domoto picture sometime.

Yeah, I was talking to one of Mutt's friends about it and she refused to see a problem with it. I was like... "Are you serious? You really don't see a problem with casting white people as obviously non-white characters?"

Her stock response was, "Well, they were probably the best actors for the part!"

Riiiight.

The fact that all the evil main characters are non-white is really just icing on the cake.
