I'm asking because I know Applejack is your favorite, so I didn't know if you would ship her with anyone, so long as she got more Fan Love, or if you were super-strictly AppleDashORDEATH.

(For the record, I am still wounded from the Potter Fandom Wars and my shipping senses are too weary to function)

My 'tude is: I prefer AppleDash, but I cede that several other pairings make sense and are valid and GOOD. RariJack is one of these.

The only reason I knew it started was because I've been following My Little Brony on Memebase and there were hundreds of memes counting down the days to S3.

And thank you very much! I'm learning how to make DW look and work more like LJ. I'm getting used to it now, 'cause the news from LJ is very upsetting, and also, goes deeper than I even knew. Sometime in the middle of 2013, DreamWidth is going to get a lot more people, and by 2015, I'm pretty sure LJ will be the journal everyone forgets to check.

(The page of the lady who made this is in my right sidebar. She has lots of layouts you might like. All you have to do is add Flexible Squares to your Dreamwidth, which is suuuuuper easy; I used this person's instructions.)

Also, you don't have to worry about me shipping that-pairing-you-really-hate. There was a conversation on GTalk and the Main Six got equated with entities in an RP universe G and I built, and in this RP-verse, that-pairing-you-really-hate is a metric ton of no-no. So any time you see me with icons of those two, know that it is 100% friendship/learning-from-each-other/Bros.

I don't even know what's going on with LJ. I'm guessing: more bullshit? The full extent of my use of it is to check a filtered-down version of my friends feed, only 2 or 3 of whom even update anymore, so at the most I'm on there 5 minutes.

A lot of BS. Rundown real fast-like before I got to bed:

*LJ laid off all but 10 of its American staff; is mostly Russian Based
*Redesigned Frieds page to make it look like arse (Doesn't affect me because I force my style on every page)
*Is getting rid of paid accounts in Spring; now you can just "buy extra features" individually (which is kinda nice, but what about the people who bought permanent accounts, or the ones who have paid accounts past spring?)
*100's of Spambots infiltrating thanks to this crap. It's hilariously out of control; there are spambot messages sitting on an entry about the new LJ releases, written by an LJ staff member. That is the epitome of "we don't read what you say"
*Custom mood themes: Gone
*If you want a laugh at how fast it's sliding down the tubes, take a moment to look at the comments, seriously.


Honestly, I'm not really laughing. I'm not happy about this at all. I feel hurt and betrayed and like I lost the first place on the net that I ever loved. But I really can't stand being upset about this anymore; I'm worn out. So my only wish is for the members of my favorite comm to move their damned arses over to the Dreamwidth Comm we already have set up here (ONTDCreepy) and then after that, I just need a day to back up my two journals, and then I'm ready to not look back.

Wait, Wait, I got a little more:

Like I said, I'm not happy. I'm feeling very vindictive-hopeful right now. I know that nothing will stop this ass from happening, but this is the reign of dickbutt LJ-Killer, the guy who was like "Rarr, they are trying to ruin our good name, the users are threatening us with these complaints thinking we will bow to them and they are wrong!" (note: the new overlord of LJ actually did say this; will find sawse if you like) and the only bit of happiness I can squeeze from this is the thought that when LJ goes completely dark, even if I can't see it, his reaction will be total annoyance and frustration, and part of him will remember all of the annoyance we expressed.

And then I hope a bunch of internet news articles get printed about it, and that he is the topic of a meme, a very cruel and hilarious meme, one that features a picture of his actual face, a meme that goes super-viral, and it's a very, very unflattering meme that makes him just apeshyte. And that when questioned about it, he says "They're being childish. It's a very immature, silly thing, why should I respond to such stupidity?" because then you know that it's pissing him off hardcore.
