My name change went though today. I couldn't stop smiling. I am now legal. Still, much more to do today and I'm already sleepy, so only a quick sketch.
Oie, you can call me Pan. Always. It's something I reserve for my Northland darlings (every single Northlander). You'll be the only ones that call me that. It's our special thing.
"Did you hear?" Lavender asks the second Ron sits down. He's not surprised to see that Hogwarts has easily provided more seats for all the eighth years, he's just surprised that the Slytherins have come back.
"Hear what?"
"Malfoy changed his name."
"He did not." Ron snorts around a fork of mashed potatoes.
"He did! The entire summer he spent renouncing the Death Eaters, he told the Ministry he didn't want to be seen as one of them anymore."
"There isn't a single person that's going to look at him and not see Malfoy."
"Be that as it may, he's now Draco Rosier."
Ron laughs and puts out of mind, continuing with his dinner. But later that night it occurs to him that there's been a Malfoy/Weasley feud for the last 200 years. Now that there's no Malfoy, what's a Weasley supposed to do? Are they supposed to be friends now?
yeah, ron/draco is such snarky and wonderful love.
i'm dead set on the 'eighth year' theory, half the students didn't get an education, the other half got to go to school and be beaten. of course they're going to have to go back, and i think a post dh hogwarts would be interesting and fairly different from the hogwarts of past.
Yes, yes- AIM. YIM ad my computer don't get along too well, but maybe we can work something out on the journal? The entry is up now, but sadly, now I have to go to bed. Midnight here (damn our time zones).
