harp: (Moss Says Hello)
In about seven hours, I'll be leaving for Chicago. This will be the last post from New York for quite a while, I believe. Gosh, I'm nervous. So comment (please), or I'll be sad >[

Jetta's art from the week before last's "Challenge Harp". She wanted Red Riding Hood as a werewolf. This was my first time ever drawing a werewolf and I had to use a reference. No tracing, though.

The drawings from last post will be up soon, as soon as I'm settled in from moving.

This is a great drawing; very effective. The yellow of the eyes and the red of the hood standing out from the remaining monochromatic drawing? The shading? The teeth? It looks like one scary beast. I shouldn't try to analyse why, it just struck me.

The clear area immediately under its left armpit strikes me as off (if I look overly long at it); if that's the white of the background then it has a very narrow torso. I think if you allowed the waist to disappear under its left arm it would look a little better. But I'm just nitpicking.

Are you moving to a permanent abode? Have a safe trip!
