-Chicago was determined to spit on me as much as earthly possible before I left and make my trip home a real bitch.
*Bank ATM took my debit card, ate and shredded it. Banker was most supremely unhelpful in that special way I have come to be familiar with (bright side- I needed a new one anyway, I suppose)
*Elevator, my only means to get down, was sprayed very liberally with vomit (bright side- puke does not squick me. I won't go out of my way to handle it, but I don't mind it)
*Bags were too heavy; had to buy a box (3.00), unload 3 pounds from one, 4 from another (bright side- managed to get 18 pounds into the bag and while I was re-organizing, found a pair of skull candy earbuds someone had dropped. Could not locate owner.)
*Bags were checked though to Washington, not New York. Though they have been located and are on the way, still very annoying (Bright side- didn't have to carry them up, I guess...)
*Missed train dinner due to epic confusion when attendant tried to tell us about the hour switch. I've made this trip before and know about the switch, but was epically confused with his explanation. (Bright side- Didn't have to sit and make awkward conversation in dining car)
The Midwest is great and Chicago's a fine place, but I know how to deal with New York a lot better. Big City + Relaxed attitude = Not OTP
- Don't Panic- there are still only 2 ships in the Harry Potter world and if you don't sail on one, you are on the other, even if you don't know it. (H P Fandom, Y U No use brains? DA-Birds, Y U No understand humor?)

heron_advocate, when's your gifting day (the day we give you gifts)? You should request some art. It's more productive.
- City day Tuesday: Catching up with Zero, going to hospital (:DDD), picking up Rx
- While I was on the train, I drew Ackley, my serial killer character from The Hitchhiker Diaries RP (;n;). S'not done yet, but it's fun.
