Just after calming down from the panic about the Australia floods, now nature's putting her teeth to New Zealand? What the Hell? And Google, for once, is being spectacularly unclear with my quest for information about the specifics on Auckland where my brother E lives.

I just sent him a gift box, too, for V-day/Easter. He was all excited about getting to interview his favorite punk star last I spoke to him, but there's no news on his journal, which hasn't been updated in a while. Is he alright? His parents and room mate? His cats?

Eli, please, please say something if you're alright.
If anyone knows any specifics... I don't know if I could even deal with the thought of it.

2011, please don't take Eli away.

Edit: Have it on good authority that Eli's area was spared the disaster (Thank you, Grue!*). I'll be watching his journal with anticipation.

*I mean for the information, not for not hitting Eli's town with disaster. Not that you could do that.

Oh, thank feck! Grue, thank you so much for once again bringing the news of non-death (this time it being not your own). All I've been hearing is "New Zeland Earthquake" here and "tiny island" with no specifics, so this is a big relief (with regarding Eli).

Then I shall (your icon reminds me of Oprah Winfrey) give you the chance to make you twice as glad- it would be also very good news if you told me you were busy right now training to enter the Housecat Weight Division of the UFC and so don't really care to peek at tagged pictures of me on BookFace. See, I just remembered that there are a lot of pictures of our college drag shows and a lot of me in drag on there, and I mean for real drag. There's this Lady Marmalade thing we did back in 07 so myself and three other boys (with varying degrees of stressfulness tucking), we're all in the type of underwear Billie Joe imagines Ivan makes Sapphira wear, and...
