OBHWFers and Butthurt, what a combination! They're all sorts of "rawr" after Dancliff and Emson's "maybe" date, and I don't get why. The cute thing is, one of 'em tried to E-mail me claiming thar R/HR shippers are persecuted by H/Hr shippers. Not much, kid, not much.

Anyone that's with HMS_STFU loses all credibility and can pretty much be pegged as a bully with no justification. It's be one thing if they just admitted that they don't like seeing H/Hr shippers happy. I'd totally get it if they admitted it and I wouldn't say a word more. Go with your happiness, kids. Our slash ship urinates all over your het canon. And damnit, I do appreciate the fact that I can say that without fearing that the OBHWooFers will jump all over me. Picking on H/Hr is easy for them to do, but they're terrified of starting sh*t with slashers. *Mumbles* I'd like to see one of 'em try to start sh*t with a slasher...

I find it funny the things people use as an excuse to bully/harass/persecute others. Including fandom shipping. As a lit geek, I certainly understand being passionate about fictional characters, but as far as where people draw the line of all-in-good-fun/this-means-war... there has got to be a limit on the things people are willing to take seriously.

Preferred interpretations of fictional relationships between fictional people should not be a basis for bullying of any sort.
